BeFit Body & Mind YOGA teaches classes in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method. Ashtanga yoga is a form of yoga developed in Mysore, India by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, designed to detoxify and align the body. It is preferred by those looking for a balanced program between exercise for the body, breathing and meditation for the mind, and relief from stress, aches and pains, and toxins. Yoga benefits body, mind, and spirit.
We promote the educational aspect of the practice and give students access to where these ideas have come from. Each month there is a topic and pose of the month dealing with a yoga philosophy, technique, or benefit that is shared before classes.
At BeFit Body & Mind YOGA we teach to accommodate every body during class no matter what your level of yoga experience—individual attention will be given to each person. Please stop in and try a class, first class is free. |
